Thousands will flock to the picturesque site of Carmel-by-the-Sea come March–end for the inaugural GourmetFest, an international food and wine festival presented by Lufthansa First Class. This year, Relais & Châteaux will be celebrating their 60th anniversary. The festival will feature the talents of Relais & Châteaux Chefs from around the world. Events include an opening night welcome party, a cooking demo, wine tastings, off-site tours combined with exciting lunches, featured chefs, world-class wine dinners, a rarities dinner, and a closing seafood grill and Champagne tasting. The GourmetFest is an international food and wine festival in the quaint village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. The inaugural year of the festival will take place over a four day period in late March 2014. The festival will feature the talents of Relais & Châteaux Chefs from around the world.
